Stirling was one of my favorite surprises in Scotland. Stirling Castle is incredibly impressive — even better than Edinburgh Castle in my opinion, with fewer crowds and a more immersive experience. Nearby, Doune Castle adds a cinematic touch, known for filming scenes from Game of Thrones. Together, they offer the perfect mix of history, views, and atmosphere.
